Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Shghool, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Shghool.

2. What Shghool is

Shghool is an Oman-based online platform that helps clients discover local service providers and coordinate requests, orders, and agreements. Shghool is a coordination and listing platform only. We are not a party to any request, order, agreement, or transaction between a client and a provider, and we do not ourselves provide the services listed.

3. Accounts and roles

You may use Shghool as a client or as a provider. You are responsible for the information in your account, for keeping your login secure, and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have legal capacity under applicable law, to create an account or use Shghool for service coordination.

4. Provider profiles and business information

Providers appear publicly under their business name. A provider's personal full name is not shown to clients. Providers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything they publish, including their profile, catalogue, prices, and service coverage, and for holding any licences or permits their work requires.

5. Requests, orders, and agreements

Clients post requests; approved providers can reply and send an agreement; a client can accept it. Shghool records and helps coordinate these steps, but any resulting order or agreement is strictly between the client and the provider. Shghool is not responsible for whether a service is delivered or how it is performed.

6. Manual orders (provider order book)

Providers can record their own off-platform orders (for example from WhatsApp, phone, or walk-in customers) in a private order book. These manual orders are the provider's own records. The provider is solely responsible for them and for any customer details they enter.

7. Shghool is not a party to your dealings

Shghool does not negotiate, deliver, supervise, guarantee, or enforce any service or agreement between users. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, timing, delivery, pricing, payment, or completion of any service, and we do not guarantee or enforce any agreement between a client and a provider. Any dispute is between the client and the provider.

8. Provider review is not a guarantee

Shghool may review provider applications, profiles, reports, or platform activity. Any review, approval, listing, badge, or continued access to Shghool does not mean that Shghool guarantees the provider, their identity, licences, service quality, prices, delivery, payment, or conduct. Clients must use their own judgement before engaging or paying any provider.

9. Provider responsibilities

Providers are responsible for the services they offer, their prices, fulfilment, the lawful and accurate content they publish, and any customer data they enter into Shghool. Providers must comply with applicable Omani law.

10. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for posting accurate requests, dealing directly and in good faith with providers, and using their own judgement before engaging a provider or making any payment.

11. Payments and receipts

Unless clearly stated otherwise, payments are arranged and made directly between the client and the provider, outside Shghool. Shghool does not hold funds and is not an escrow service, payment processor, or payment guarantor. Any receipt or payment file uploaded to Shghool is a record for the people involved in that order and is kept private.

12. Reviews and reports

Reviews and reports must be honest and based on real experiences. Shghool may review, moderate, hide, or remove content, and may act on reports, to keep the platform safe and trustworthy.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Shghool for anything unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or infringing, not to impersonate others, and not to misuse other people's information or the platform itself.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or close an account that breaks these terms, misuses the platform, or where we are required to by law.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Shghool is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Shghool is not liable for the conduct of clients or providers, for the services arranged through the platform, or for user-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version. For material changes we may ask you to accept the updated terms before continuing to use Shghool. Continued use after an update means you accept it.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Shghool is operated by [Shghool legal entity / owner — to be confirmed].
